Professional DPF Cleaning & Restoration

Diesel particulate DPF filter with a ceramic honeycomb, prepared for cleaning
Norena 7503 / 04

Driven by the idea of protecting the environment, which directly affects us all, and by new legal regulations regarding the reduction of harmful emissions, we decided to invest in this direction and acquired a DPF filter cleaning machine.

Almost every diesel car made after 2009 has a diesel particulate filter (DPF) that effectively reduces solid carbon particle emissions. If your filter becomes clogged or damaged, the consequences for your car can be serious.

How does the DPF filter work?

The DPF filter takes the soot from the exhaust and passes it through a ceramic honeycomb, where solid particles are trapped in the porous structure of the walls. The soot on the filter walls must be removed from time to time so your car works as designed.

Which emissions does the DPF filter reduce?

  • Carbon monoxide (CO)
  • Hydrocarbons (HC)
  • Nitrogen oxide (NOx)
  • Particulate matter (PM)

When should the filter be cleaned?

If you drive mostly in the city and in traffic, or cover mostly short distances, you may see a warning light on the dashboard. Some cars do not have such a warning, but a clogged DPF filter leads to poorer engine performance, higher fuel consumption or higher idle revs. Then the filter must be cleaned professionally with a machine like ours.

The increasingly common practice of removing DPF filters in recent years affects not only air pollution but also causes damage to the engine and electrical systems. Take care of your car by bringing us your DPF filter and you will get it back flowing and functional.
